River Elwy - Kinmel Beat 2

Beat Description

A beat of one and a half miles of mostly double bank fishing.

How to get there:

From Denbigh and St Asaph, leave St Asaph on B5381 towards Betws yn Rhos, passing through St. Asaph Business Park. At the first island go straight over and continue on the B5381 towards Betws-yn-Rhos, or drive from St Asaph on the B5381 until you see a large signpost opposite the gate to Bodelwyddan Park. Turn left and follow to the right and continue on the B5381 past the left turn to Llannefydd and take the next left turn at the bottom of a very sharp dip in the road. You will shortly come to a crossroads - go straight over and down the un-made road to a dark brown wooden gate with a red post box. Go through this gate and down the long drive to Meifod Mill. Pass through the field gate and if the ground is soft, park on the side without blocking the track, but if the ground is firm, you may drive straight across the field to the Elwy and park by the footbridge. At the top of the beat the boundary is the top of the field above the wood on the right bank.

Parking:

Pass through the field gate and if the ground is soft, park on the side without blocking the track, but if the ground is firm, you may drive straight across the field to the Elwy and park by the footbridge.
